FirstZoom.TV caught the Thermaltake team in action, while unboxing their highly specialized Level 10 case. DesignworksUSA designed the case which was first shown at CeBIT and has since been praised for its impressive and stylish outlook. DesignworksUSA is 100% owned by the BMW group.

Lastly we have the Silent 8 fan from Gelid.
This fan runs with silent operation, it has optimized fan blades like its counterparts; it creates a high airflow and static pressure to maintain CFM volume, with reduced vibrations. There are rubber fan mounts and it has a 5 year warranty.
This fans dimensions are:80 x 80 x 25mm, the Fan Speed is 1600RPM,
and the Noise Level stands at 18dBA

The Silent 9 TC According to Gelid, this fan is designed for Silent enthusiasts, who like their PC to regulate itself without worrying about noise and heat issues. The unique feature of the TC fan or more correctly the Temperature Control fan provide additional airflow by changing the fan speed according to your actual temperature needs. This is done via the external temperature probe, which can be placed as needed.

Similarly, like Silent 12 PWM, this fan has a special algorithm to facilitate the optimum cooling at the various temperatures, and does not rely on a linear increase in speed as competitor fans do.
Each fan impeller has been individually balanced using the latest technology to guarantee stable operation giving you no more noise than absolutely necessary and maximum cooling when needed.

An intelligent IC embedded in the fans PCB allows smart variable fan speeds as mentioned. To add to that, the silent fan mounts replace traditional screws and are made of high quality, temperature resistant, extra long lasting rubber which prevents vibrations from permeating throughout your case.

This fans Dimension are 92 x 92 x 25mm, the Fan Speed is between 900 (@22C) - 2000 (@42C). The noise level fluctuates between 11-23.5 dBA according to the speed.

Taking a look at the package, in fact all of the packages, they seem full of information, and actually look quite attractive. They list the fans specifications and performance data. Included in this box  are the technical document and warranty card as well as four(4) rubber fan mounts which are used to attach the fan to a suitable place in your chassis. These mounts are designed to reduce the noise vibration that comes from fans. The Silent 12 (PWM) fan will automatically adjust itself to the most silent operation when CPU loading is lower. Gelid have used a special algorithm to make sure that the optimal cooling conditions apply to your CPU usage. So unlike other fans out there who claim to regulate speed according to temperature, GELID has implemented a special performance curve which they believe is the optimum for the noise/performance ratio. In addition, the Hydro dynamic bearing, a unique technology used by the Gelid Silent 12 (PWM) fans is extremely efficient and reduces friction inside the fan considerably thus enhancing the running lifespan of the product.
