BMW is not a new brand, and DesignworksUSA, a 100% subsidiary of the BMW Group, has for many years shaped many design aspects around the world. There latest adventure has been in the Technology industry. This time they are working with ThermalTake.
Thermaltake is not a new brand either, and have been the brand of choice for Computer gamers who need an aggressive, feature rich case for their PC system. Now the two companies have come together to make something absolutely unique!
This is the Level 10 chassis, and was designed to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Thermaltakes prestigious rise as the company began with the famous Golden Orb cooler all those years ago. Since then it has become a very popular brand among PC enthusiasts around the world, and continues to surprise. This case is certainly no exception.
Lets take a closer look:
The most striking immediate impression is that it has 6 Unique Hard drive bays, the Optical drive compartment is completely sealed off and can only be opened with the USB key. In fact nothing works unless the USBkey is slotted in. This extractable power button not only activates the system, but also secures personal system data, rendering it suitable for flexible use.
The smart lock system also facilitates protecting the valuable modules that can be seen here. Each compartment aligned for specific needs such as Power supply, Graphics card, motherboard, memory and so on. Two well-positioned, integrated handles allow the Level 10 to be safely and conveniently transported as needed.
The design has an integrated cable conduit system and special light features which communicate various component information to the owner such as temperature and memory status.
According to DesignworksUSA, each high-quality component featured by the Level 10″ concept is enclosed within its own protective case, to allow for user convenience, interchangeability, transportation as well as for optimizing cooling.
Without a defined structure to explain easily, this is one of those cases where seeing a picture is worth a thousand words. We have been told at FirstZoom.TV that the internal layout and structure of the Level ten are a hotly debated TOP SECRET project. We will bring you more as events unfold.
