
Acer’s mainstream Tablet, with the Intel Clover Trail SoC design has a keyboard docking bay that acts as a fancy backstand support when turned through 270 degrees plus. The device is optimised for touch interactions, and is bundled with Windows 8. When undocked it is a standalone tablet device weighing in at around 900grams. The claim on battery life is around 9 hours, although the proof is yet to be seen.
The high-end Tablet has an Intel Core i7 mounted on an Ivybridge chipset. The performance matches what can be found in the 11 and 13 inch notebooks. The tablet is an extremely powerful device and can be utilised as a pc in its own right.
