Thecus N2200xxx & N4200 Pro @ Computex 2011

The N2200xxx is a two bay NAS for home use,  NAS N4200 NAS for home use and SMB’s. Both are running Atom D525 dual-core processors @ 1.8GHz with one GB or DDR3 RAM. Both can use 3T HDD’s as well as EXT 4 file systems. The drives have convenient access in the front or side and the N4200 has an LCD display for setting features and perimeters for the NAS. Most features are accessible through the proprietary UI, with special features for photo servers, iPhone and android connectivity. All are good for backup (includes RAID features). The 4200Pro has a built in UPS for added security of data.

WonderMedia Tablets (VIA) @ Computex 2011

The WonderMedia range of tablets does very well in China, based on the ARM 11 and ARM 9 CPU’s which empower the exceptional WonderMedia encode and decode capabilities. Using HDMI its really easy to stream the latest media onto your TV, based on Android 2.2 or 2.3 (depending). The products range from 10″ size to 8.9″ devices, featuring 4:3 aspect ratio down to 7″ devices. The screens are wide ranging as well with capacitive screens or resistance screens giving a wide range of options for consumers.

Acer Tablet features @ Computex 2011

Acer’s new Nvidia Tegra 2 tablet with a plethora of connectors such as USB, HDMI and microSD with a battery life of around 18 hours standby and 8 hours when being used. The device gives many options in todays crowded tablet world. Check out more at Acer.

The Viewpad 10 Pro is based on the Oak Trail CPU from Intel. The Tablet features dual OS capabilities with one click. You can switch between Android or Windows 7 and allows for some heavy duty processing.

ACER Aspire netbook-Android/Linux hybrid @ Computex 2009

Aspire one netbook from Acer with Atom processor. The Android OS platform is a mixed Android, Linux hybrid which starts up in 18 seconds!! and turns off in 1 second. Future specs uncertain, but looks good and works great!
