RunCore Xapear USB Removable SSD @ Computex 2011

The RunCore Xapear USB Removable SSD is a USB 2.0 device. When keyed on, the device enables users to access the private section in the device, but when keyed off, then only the public section is accessible. There is also a GSM option, where a GSM device can receive a message which will wipe the disk clean.

RunCore SSD privacy features @ Computex 2011

The SSD disk runs on SATA III and has an IFID disk which has a public layer and private later. When used without the disk, the public layer is all that is accessable, but when keying in the IFID disk, the device opens up the private layers. Also using your cellphone, you can activate or deactivate the private layer.

Microsoft & Samsung unite with Allshare App @ Computex 2010

The Microsoft booth at Computex 2010 had many interesting projects where Yi found out about Allshare, an application which works on the Samsung Omnia II mobile phones. The Allshare application shares TV, Mobile, as well PC and Camera across a wireless network to other Allshare users, and between your respective media.
