The Raidon InTANK series storage bay incorporates a 1T spinning disk HDD, and an SSD cache that improves performance from 100MB/s to 200MB/s. The device comes in 3.5, 5,25 and external version as well. In addition some NAS devices are displayed which save space and allows massive storage and performance.
Areca showed us a prototype based on the new Marvell 6GB/s SATA/SAS controller. They will launch a whole new series based on this controller in early 2010, which they expect to MORE than double(!) the performance of their existing series. They also mention that they are working on SSD improved firmware updates for their existing series!
