The WonderMedia range of tablets does very well in China, based on the ARM 11 and ARM 9 CPU’s which empower the exceptional WonderMedia encode and decode capabilities. Using HDMI its really easy to stream the latest media onto your TV, based on Android 2.2 or 2.3 (depending). The products range from 10″ size to 8.9″ devices, featuring 4:3 aspect ratio down to 7″ devices. Chicony Camcorder with WiFi to cloud access @ Computex 2011

Chicony’s camcorders use WiFi connectivity to connect wirelessly to cloud based servers so that you don’t have to use a USB cable to download your content. There is also the LCD Touch bar type camcorder, with a fixed focus. The Camcorders can also record instant pictures as well as record videos.

E-core iPhone compatible speaker at Computex 2011

E-core iPhone wireless speakers play music which is broadcast wirelessly from the dock station. When the speakers are placed back on the dock, they charge with inductance. The speakers can be up to 30 metres away from the docking station. In addition there is a USB dongle which enables your PC to play music directly to the docking station and thus to the speakers. E-Core uses wireless transmission to give users the best music experience.

Intel Wireless Display Technology (WiDi) @ Computex 2011

The WiDi tech is capable for all kinds of products, from desktops, notebooks and even tablets. The more powerful platforms can cater for BluRay disk media in full HD, but smaller devices like tablets will show noticeable lag, although that does not matter if it is used as a broadcast device.

Intel’s new signage devices combine mobile integration to allow interaction with adverts shown on their screen. The devices feedback through camera and wireless nodes to allow direct purchases and even a download for later option.

Phottix Atlas Wireless Flash Trigger – Outdoor Review

Craig Ferguson tested the Phottix Atlas Wireless Trigger engineering samples in a real life scenario. The flashes were staggered along a path and they fired off as Betty rode past on the bicycle. The time was early dawn before sunrise. The filming done with the HD DSLR Canon 7D made the scene much brighter than it was in real life.

Phottix has since improved the active range of the triggers to well over 100m.
